How much does it cost?

BRUSH MATE® Trade 20brush mate

Storing wet paint brushes in water or solvents is a time consuming, wasteful, and thoroughly messy business. Ferrules rust, bristles become bent, paint hardens in the stock, water drips onto fresh paintwork, and spillages mess up your van - to mention just a few of the hassles. But problem-free paint brush care and storage needn’t be a chore as tens of thousands of tradesmen have discovered when using oil-based paints and varnishes. After painting, simply clip your wet brushes into the BRUSH MATE Trade 20 and let its unique vapour system keep them soft and pliable - ready for immediate re-use - hours, days or months later.

COST

Currently around £50 GBP including accessories. Replacement bottles of fluid under £4 GBP. Running costs including fluid and new pads about £1 per month. BOZZLE COMMENT:- Recommended for the professional decorator. BrushMate 20 will only hold 20 small size brushes (less than 20 when using larger size brushes) so a minimum of two is recommended; one for white and very pale colours and one for dark colours and stains, otherwise things can get messy. The clips won't hold certain shaped handles and BrushMate is not recommended for keeping rollers soft but overall it is a must for the professional.
Tip: A bent nail or piece of wire can be used to prevent very thin handled brushes from falling out of the clips.
