Paint is flaking off the render(where the brickwork has been faced with mortar): Sometimes this is caused by the wall coating being applied before the render was dry or applied during a period of frost. All loose paint and render must be removed and repaired. repaint during ideal conditions.
Paint blisters on old paintwork: On old paintwork blisters and cracking can be scraped off and sanded down but it is better to remove the old paint completely by burning it off, either with a blowlamp or hot air gun. Chemical paint stripper can be used as an alternative. Where the paint is very old a blowlamp/blowtorch is the best choice.
Flies landing on wet paint: If the flies are small ignore them; on primer and undercoats they will disappear when you rub down the paintwork. On gloss finish paintwork allow the paint to dry and harden completely then wipe with a soft damp cloth to remove any traces of flies.
Paint flaking off metal doors and gates: Galvanized metal must have a suitable zinc primer before painting otherwise the paint will fail to adhere to the surface.
