Old English Text. Typefaces such as this, often referred to as 'blackletter', are based on pre-print handwritten manuscripts. In fonts such as these and likewise script fonts, words should NEVER be in all capitals. Based on Caslon Black, a Blackletter type cast by the William Caslon foundry in England around 1760.
