Before you start to do any papering make sure that you are properly prepared.

Ensure that you are able to reach the surfaces you have to paper.

When papering a ceiling all the furniture needs to be removed from the room
unless the room is large enough to paper the ceiling in two halves.

Have a sufficient quantity of wallpaper.

Have the paste prepared.

Ensure you have the tools to carry out the project.
Check that you have:-

A bucket for paste
-
A paste brush or roller
-
Scissors and/or craft knife or sharp blades

A measuring tape
-
A spirit level
-
A plumbline
-
A pencil, NOT a biro or felt tip pen

A paste table
-
A sponge
-
A papering brush or soft cloth
-
A seam roller
-
A small (½ inch) brush for dry edges

Border adhesive
-
A stepladder
