Encaustic workshops and classes Having worked with R&F Handmade Paints,
the factory which produces encaustic, this series of workshops and classes
is being offered to students, practicing artists and teachers. No prior
experience in encaustic is necessary. Participating artists will learn
contemporary, solvent-free approaches to painting and working with wax. Learning
will be primarily hands-on with ample demonstrations covering traditional
methods of painting and how this may interact with collage, image transfer,
monoprinting and casting. In addition, students will learn safe and archival
uses of this medium. Encaustic workshops and classes This series of workshops
and classes is open to students, teachers and practicing artists at beginning
to advanced levels. No prior experience in encaustic is necessary. Participating
artists will learn a contemporary, solvent-free approach to painting and
