Color Awareness Red

Becoming consciously aware of colour, as artists do, makes life a lot more interesting. You start to notice colours you once took for granted. Brilliant displays of colour are always eye-catching; it is the blended and muted colors which it is worth training your eye to see. How many red things have you seen to-day? A London bus, a holiday brochure, your neighbours car, stained glass in a door, an old heraldic shield in a junk shop window, someones sweater, a red face out in the sun, your coffee mug, traffic lights.
